Position Summary

The Desktop Support Technician provides hands-on technical support for PC hardware, software, and end-user systems across the organization. This role is essential in ensuring our teams stay connected, supported, and equipped to deliver high-quality care to the communities we serve.

 

 

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, and user systems
  • Install, configure, and relocate desktop equipment as needed
  • Troubleshoot network, connectivity, and phone-related issues
  • Support client networking and telecommunications systems
  • Set up and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and phones
  • Track, maintain, and manage hardware inventory
  • Document and monitor user support requests and resolutions
  • Partner with external vendors to resolve hardware, software, and IT service needs
  • Communicate updates and project status to leadership and team members
  • Collaborate with IT team members on support issues and projects
  • Identify opportunities for new or improved IT policies and procedures

 

What You Bring

  • Strong customer service mindset with a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow direction and eagerness to learn and grow
  • Working knowledge of PC hardware and software components
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a related field or 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Active Directory (preferred, not required)
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Healthcare IT (preferred)
  • Equivalent hands-on technical experience may be considered in place of certifications

 

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
  • Ability to travel between locations as needed
