About the Role
Overview
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide high-volume technical support across phone, ticketing, and in-person channels. This role focuses on Windows-based environments and requires strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage a steady flow of service requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-volume support via phone, ticketing system, deskside, and walk-up interactions
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows OS, Office 365, Exchange, and Outlook
- Support and manage Active Directory tasks such as password resets, account unlocks, and user access
- Perform Tier 1 troubleshooting for hardware including laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity and restoration issues
- Manage and resolve a high volume of service desk tickets while meeting SLA expectations
- Escalate complex issues to Tier 2/3 support teams when necessary
- Document incidents, resolutions, and processes accurately within the ticketing system
- Deliver a professional and customer-focused support experience to all users
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of desktop support or help desk experience in a Windows environment
- Strong working knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and Active Directory
- Experience supporting hardware (PCs, laptops, printers) in a corporate setting
- Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing systems (ServiceNow or similar)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Reliable, adaptable, and self-motivated
Preferred
- Experience in enterprise or large-scale IT environments
- Exposure to Exchange administration or advanced troubleshooting
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications)
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Meridian, ID.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
