Description
We’re seeking a hands-on IT Support Specialist to provide Tier 1–2 end-user support in a professional services environment. This role supports Windows laptops, engineering workstations, Microsoft 365, and industry-specific applications used in design and engineering.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as first point of contact for IT issues via Freshservice, phone, Teams, and walk-ups
- Own tickets end-to-end with strong communication and follow-through
- Support Windows devices, peripherals, conference room AV, and connectivity issues
- Administer Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID)
- Support CAD/BIM/GIS applications (Autodesk, Bentley, Bluebeam, ArcGIS)
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, deployments, and documentation
- Provide light training and support for AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude)
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred
- 2+ years of hands-on desktop support, help desk, or end user support experience, ideally in a professional services environment.
- Strong Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 knowledge
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- AEC industry IT experience preferred
- Certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft) a plus
- Success in this role depends as much on customer service as technical skill. We’re looking for someone who owns problems end-to-end, communicates with empathy, and consistently delivers a high-quality user experience. Cultural fit and service mindset are as important as technical ability.
What we offer:
- Comprehensive Benefits - Including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and maternity leave.
- Health Coverage Perks – Employee-only HDHP medical plan offered at no cost; company-paid life insurance, short-term disability (STD), and long-term disability (LTD)
- Work-Life Balance & Wellness – Flexible hybrid work schedule plus access to our on-site gym and showers to support your health and convenience.
- Professional Growth & Development – Support for training, skill-building, and tuition reimbursement.
- Community Engagement – Take advantage of 9 extra paid hours annually to give back through volunteering.
- Leadership & Growth Opportunities – Develop your career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
- Collaborative & Innovative Culture – Work in a dynamic team where your voice and ideas are valued.
