Job Description:  

Blackstone is seeking a Desktop Support and Executive Support candidate to support all technology needs of our user community onsite.  In this role you will be ensuring all users of the firm have the best experience possible by reducing bugs and outages associated with the introduction of new technology solutions into their workflows.  You will be responsible for conducting or coordinating with BXTI subject matter experts on new technology solutions.  You will be responsible for bringing in new technologies or offering alternative ways to enhance their workflows.  Take projects and lead a part of the team to deliver the result intended. 

Responsibilities: 

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for computers, peripherals, iPhones, and iPads. 

• Support will include troubleshooting, repair, and installation of hardware, software, and operating systems for Windows 10 and Office 365 suite 

• Deliver white-glove technology experience to the senior members of the company 

• Own projects and lead other team members to completion of tasks at hand 

• Setup and configure workstations weekly for New Hires and moves 

• Proactively identify and track problems/enhancements to continuously improve user experience 

• Identify new technologies or offering alternative ways to enhance their workflows 

• Liaise with Infrastructure and application teams on issues that need to be escalated 

• Work within help desk ticketing system (ServiceNow) to document all work performed and communication with clients 

Qualifications: 

• Major in Computer Science or other applicable technical degree 

• At least 10 years of experience providing technical support in the financial sector experience 

• Experience in troubleshooting Zoom, Windows 10, Mac OSX, IOS and the Office 365 suite 

• Exceptionally strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills 

• The passion to learn and grow and bring value to the team 

• Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects 

• Experience working with little direction 

• Knowledge of network technologies involving Local Area Networks, Home Networks, and VPNs. 

• Align with company standards and procedures to ensure continuity across all IT functions 

• Experience meeting tight deadlines and work well under pressure 

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a experience interacting with personnel at all levels

Expected annual base salary range:

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
