About Ingo
Ingo Payments is the instant money company. We turn cash, check and ACH payments into real-time digital funds, giving consumers and businesses instant access to their money in almost any debit, prepaid or credit card account or digital wallet. Our services run on a hybrid platform of co-located data centers and public cloud, built to meet the security and compliance standards of a regulated payments company.
About the role
The Corporate IT Support Engineer is the first line of technical support for Ingo employees, onsite in Alpharetta and remote. You will keep laptops, accounts, collaboration tools and office technology running, and you will do it inside an environment governed by PCI DSS and SOC 2 where access control, asset tracking and documentation matter as much as fixing the problem.
The right person pairs strong troubleshooting with genuine customer service. You explain technical issues clearly to people at every skill level, close tickets with good notes, and follow security procedures without being reminded.
This role works directly with the Infrastructure and Information Security teams. It offers exposure to data center, cloud, networking and security operations, with a career path toward systems administration, systems engineering or security operations.
Responsibilities
End-user support
Provide onsite and remote support for Windows laptops and workstations, MacBooks, mobile devices, peripherals and business applications
Own the IT helpdesk queue in Jira: triage, prioritize, resolve or escalate tickets, and document fixes so they can be reused
Troubleshoot connectivity issues, including office Wi-Fi, VPN and remote access
Support Azure Virtual Desktop users, including client setup, session connectivity and FSLogix profile issues, escalating platform issues to Infrastructure
Support RingCentral phone service, including user setup, devices and call routing, and conference room AV
Identity, access and Microsoft 365
Process onboarding, role changes and offboarding on schedule, following documented approval workflows
Manage user accounts, groups and licenses in Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365, using delegated, least-privilege rights
Support Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and the rest of the Microsoft 365 suite
Enroll and support users in multi-factor authentication and reset credentials through verified identity checks
Endpoint management and security
Image, enroll, configure and deploy endpoints using Jamf Pro for macOS and Microsoft Intune with Windows Autopilot for Windows
Confirm endpoints meet security baselines: encryption, endpoint protection (CrowdStrike Falcon), and current OS and application patches
Support the Windows patch management process for end-user devices and report compliance gaps
Assist Information Security with phishing reports, suspicious activity and endpoint containment requests
Assets, compliance and documentation
Maintain an accurate inventory of laptops, mobile devices, peripherals and software licenses across the asset lifecycle
Coordinate hardware purchasing, repairs, warranty claims and secure disposal with certificates of destruction
Produce evidence for PCI DSS, SOC 2 and internal audits, such as access reviews, onboarding/offboarding records and asset reports
Write and update knowledge base articles and support procedures
Office technology
Maintain office network equipment, printers and AV systems with Infrastructure
Act as the onsite contact for IT vendors and building-related technology work
Required qualifications
3-5 years of corporate IT support experience
Strong hands-on support of Windows 11 and macOS on business laptops and workstations
Hands-on Jamf Pro administration: macOS enrollment, configuration profiles, policies, app deployment and inventory
Hands-on Microsoft Intune administration: device enrollment, compliance and configuration policies, app deployment and update rings
Experience provisioning Windows devices with Windows Autopilot, including hardware hash registration and deployment profiles
Working experience administering Active Directory and Microsoft 365, including user, group, license and mailbox management
Experience administering Microsoft Entra ID, including conditional access and hybrid-joined devices
Experience administering RingCentral: user and extension setup, desk phones and softphones, call routing and call queues
Experience with Jira or a comparable ticketing system and a disciplined approach to documenting work
Solid grasp of networking basics: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi and VPN
Clear written and spoken communication with non-technical users
Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage a queue with minimal supervision
Comfortable following security and change control procedures in a regulated environment
Associate's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
Preferred qualifications
Experience supporting Azure Virtual Desktop users: Windows App/Remote Desktop client setup, session connectivity and FSLogix profile troubleshooting
Familiarity with EDR tools, ideally CrowdStrike Falcon
Experience in a PCI DSS, SOC 2 or other audited environment
Exposure to PowerShell or other scripting for routine administration
Experience supporting conference room AV
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ or Security+, Jamf Certified Tech or Admin, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
Working conditions
This is a hybrid role based at the Alpharetta, GA office, with regular in-office days for hands-on support
Occasional evening or weekend work for maintenance windows, deployments and urgent issues
Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs
