Title: Cloud Engineer
Location: Ft Meade, MD
Clearance: TS/SCI CI Poly
Responsibilities:
- Assess the existing cloud infrastructure and recommend improvements to align with federal government standards and best practices
- Design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation, including diagrams, operation procedures, and security guidelines
- Collaborate with the security operations team to ensure compliance with federal government security requirements
- Conduct regular cloud infrastructure audits to identify and address potential security risks and vulnerabilities
- Optimize cloud service utilization to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud-based services
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to personnel as needed
- Coordinate with other federa; agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless integration of cloud services and technologies
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or administration
- Knowledge in a variety of cloud platforms and technologies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong understanding of federal government security requirements, including FISMA and FedRAMP
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
- Current active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required
