The Opportunity:

At Booz Allen, you’ll join a team united by a shared purpose: empowering people to change the world. You’ll work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with engineers, analysts, and mission partners to build and strengthen the systems that national‑security, federal, and commercial clients rely on.

As a DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll streamline the software development lifecycle across cloud, hybrid, and secure environments. You’ll incorporate automation, scripting, open‑source tooling, and cloud resources to reduce manual overhead and accelerate delivery. You’ll also build and validate test environments, support continuous integration and deployment, troubleshoot complex systems, and enhance operational reliability through monitoring and telemetry analysis.

If you’re looking for the chance to create systems that truly make a difference, we need you on our team. We’re seeking a skilled engineer like you, someone with the expertise to build systems from vision to production. This is your opportunity to stretch your abilities, develop new ones, and be part of a culture that challenges you to think boldly and deliver with purpose, aligned with Booz Allen’s evolving technical identity and talent‑experience vision.

Work with us as we shape systems for the better.

What You’ll Work On:

• Support the development and enhancement of secure enterprise applications, automation tools, and workflows on AWS Cloud.
• Build and refine automation using scripting languages such as Python or Bash to improve repeatability and operational efficiency.
• Assist with deployment validation, configuration assessments, patching workflows, and release readiness across enterprise environments.
• Troubleshoot and analyze system, application, and network issues, contributing to root‑cause analysis and reliability improvements.
• Stand up isolated test environments to validate configuration changes, ensure interoperability, and support rollback planning.
• Monitor logs, telemetry, and system‑health indicators to identify risks, guide remediation, and support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering, cybersecurity, and mission teams, contributing to a culture anchored in values, clarity, and impact as reflected in Booz Allen’s employee‑experience initiatives.
• Document technical procedures, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and operational standards to support continuity and team readiness.
